Hey guys, For my first Software Review I will be reviewing Steam’s new UI which was released last week for Windows users.

First Impression: It’s very good.

The layout of the games could be a wee bit better than what it is. I would have preferred it looking like the old Steam layout.

The community is done well. There is nothing much to say about the community and the store side of the new steam.

The new downloader is alot better than what it was!
Programs actually download

But there is one flaw. Launching NON-steam programs though Steam. I tried to open Microsoft Publisher through Steam and it opened 50 times. I had to press the reset button to fix it. That wasn’t a goo experience.

Anyway, My rating of the new Steam UI out of 10 is….*drumroll*

What could be better? A few layout variations would be good but having just the grid and list is sufficient for now.
